EXHIBITORS at the Tenaga 2004 Expo and Forum from June 15-18 at the Mines Resort City , near Kuala Lumpur , will showcase equipment that improves energy efficiency. Visitors can look forward to seeing the latest switchgears, control systems, transformers, cables, relays and measuring instruments designed to maximise energy use at the biennial event.
Organizer AMB Exhibitions Sdn Bhd's chairman, Tan Sri Dr. Syed Jalaluddin Syed Salim, said that 168 companies from 18 countries will present technology for power generation, transmission, distribution, installation and quality control.
"In the face of high energy costs, the nation needs to embrace energy-efficient strategies in order to be more cost-effective and efficient in running their businesses," he told a press conference yesterday.
Complementing the expo will be the inaugural National Energy Efficiency Seminar on June 18.
The expo and forum is presented by Tenaga Nasional Bled.
